I must admit that I haven’t done much work on Albert’s side of the family yet. But I can tell you that he was a train driver. I have yet to find out which company he drove for but I don’t know if the Spring Branch around Wigan rings a bell with anyone. If so please get in touch.
He married Clara Eastham in 1916 in Wigan. Both the Easthams and the Ramdale’s seem to have lived in Ince in Makerfield near Wigan.
