DIY or do-it-yourself is something that is close to both our hearts. It is always our first thought if we see something we like. We can make that ourselves. Of course there are certain things that we can’t do ourselves either because we don’t have the right machinery or we don’t have the knowledge. In these cases we might very well be tempted to go ahead and buy it. We do plan to share with you all some of the things that we have actually bought over the last couple of years. But most importantly we want to share with you some of the things we have made ourselves.
For us DIY is basically everything we make ourselves, independent of the craft involved. Nevertheless, some of the crafts that we do more than others have their own pages. Like bobbin lace, decoupage and making my own yarn. Some of the project also include tutorials!
DIY projects:
In November 2010 I joined the Crafty Christmas Club run by Tilly from Tilly and the Buttons. In connection with this I posted about making Christmas presents for people with different interests (see the list below). I have taken down the page for this as we are now past Christmas, but I think I may very well want to join CCC again next year if Tilly is planning to keep it on.
