Bobbin lace is an old craft which I wouldn’t say has had a revival – Yet! I’m hoping it will come. I love making bobbin lace and I am very excited about championing it. I have recently been coming up with a couple of patterns for making lovely lace flowers and I am working on other projects such as scarfs and jewellery. I also plan to make some tutorials through the Historic Crafts website on how to make your own easy bobbins and pillow and how to get you started. Lace in itself is fashionable at the moment but there is a big difference between something that looks like lace but is really made in a factory and something that may not look like traditional lace (like my flowers) but which actually is.
